About Dani
Dani Swanson went to school with the aspiration of teaching, where she majored in English at the University of Minnesota. She loved all the books she read, especially those that were full of magic and adventure. Though her career path didn't follow down the road to teaching, she used all of her experience with stories to polish her own storytelling.
The Grimalkin series started when she fell on some ice and got a major concussion - leaving her to have many vivid dreams that she would write down each morning when she woke up.
Living in Burnsville, Minnesota with her boyfriend and three kitties, she works by day as a Public Service Employee while pursuing her passion for art in her spare time - both in paint and words.
